Wendy Hill’s New York performances include; The Governess in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, Constance Fletcher in Thomson’s The Mother of Us All, both at New York City Opera, Garance in John Kelly’s The Paradise Project at the Kitchen, Woglinda and Freia in Wagner’s The Rheingold and The Initiated One in David Del Tredici’s Dracula with Eos Orchestra, Alice B. Toklas in Jonathan Sheffer’s Blood on the Dinning Room Floor with the WPA Theater, Mica in the world premiere of Carly Simon’s opera Romulus Hunt co-produced by the Metropolitan Opera Guild and the Kennedy Center, The Princess of Death in Glass’ Orphée at BAM and American Repertory Theatre ,The Mother/Ice Princess in Monk’s Atlas with Houston Grand Opera and BAM and The Soprano in Jack Beeson’s Practice in the Art of Elocution at the Vox Festival, 2007.
Nationally Hill has performed; Carlotta in Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera in the Raoul Company, Rosalinda in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus and Romilda in Handel’s Xerxes and Florencia in Catán’s Florencia en el Amazonas all with Seattle Opera, Madame Corvina in Musto’s Volpone at Wolftrap, Drusilla in Monteverdi’s The Coronation of Poppea with Washington Opera and Long Beach Opera and Constance Fetcher in Thomson’s Mother of Us All with San Francisco Opera.
Internationally Hill’s roles include; Pat Nixon in Adams’ Nixon in China with the Wiener Operntheatre and the London Philharmonic, Maria in Bernstein’s West Side Story with the London Philharmonic, Hadewijk in Andriessen’s De Materie at The Holland Festival, Nerone in Handel’s Agrippina at the Göttingen Handel Festival and Greta Fiorentino in Weill’s Street Scene at the Theater des Westens, Berlin.
